Skunk Works thanks the many people, organizations and companies who have helped make our robotics team, its experiences and opportunities possible. Below are examples of how they have made a difference.
Our mentors provide guidance and training. They help make FIRST an outstanding learning experience and provide inspiration and knowledge for their future.
Our coaches support and encourage us to learn and become more confident. They have helped develop us into the fine students we are today.
Without the financial and logistical support of the Skunk Works Robotics Booster Club, we would not be able to attend as many competitions, build each year's practice field, or purchase sufficient robot making materials. We thank them for trusting that we can do great things if we are given the chance.
The team draws from many different high schools, and we thank our fellow students and our teachers for their support throughout the grueling six week build season, putting up with our exhausted, driven students the morning after a long night's work.
Without the support of the Highline School District we would not have a place to meet and work. We are excited to be creating a space at the old Beverly Park Elementary building where we and other Highline FRC teams that don't meet at a school can learn and create.
The parents have been extremely supportive, from organizing team dinners and activities during the build season and competitions to driving the students to and from meetings at all hours of the day and night.
